Steak 'N Shake Cajun Steakburger

Image
Like hamburgers and spicy things.  Then you might like Shake N' Shake's Cajun Steakburger.  I can say it certainly surprised me. At a glance, it looks simple enough.  You have was appears to be a cheeseburger with spicy stuff sprinkled on top.  And you'd be right.  That is in fact what it is.  The bun spicy, but not hot.  If you can't handle hot stuff, you've got nothing to fear.  Or maybe my sense of taste is messed up from years of downing Hot Cheetos. It also has a secret you don't see.  Underneath the bun, there is a special sauce to rival what McDonald's puts on its Big Mac.  I don't know what it is (probably some type of Cajun mayo or something) but it's pretty good. What Steak N' Shake has created here is something juicy, spicy, and pretty darned good.  It's bursting with flavor, yet it won't overwhelm you.  It's simply orgasmic and, dare I say, better than crack.

First, grab yourself some roast beef.  Try to get it from the supermarket deli, if you can.  Oscar Meyer, Sarah Lee, and the like simply don't cut it if your looking to make a GOOD sandwich.  For me, a meat's texture is everything and the supermarket deli has never failed me.  Of course, it tastes better as well, especially when there's a TINY bit of red. Then, obviously you'll need bread.  Good ole white bread is where it's at.  What it lack in nutrients and health benefits, it ma...
